•  Why join the NTBC?

If you’re not a member of the more than 850 businesses in the New Tampa, Wesley Chapel, Trinity and Odessa areas that are a member of the Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce, listen up!

While reasons to join the chamber are as diverse as our Chamber membership itself, we’ve got a list of top 5 reasons you should join our Chamber now plus a few for good measure.

Advocacy: The WCCC is one of the leading advocates for Pasco and New Tampa business community. From taking charge in local initiatives to being instrumental partners with the Florida Chamber, Tampa Bay Partnership, and Pasco Economic Development Council, the Chamber has worked hard to be the community leader defending the interests of the local businesses, small and large.

Community Growth: In the same vein as advocacy, the Chamber plays a major role in community growth and business development activities. We work to make our area look good to potential new businesses and are here to provide information on living and relocating to the area- which in turn helps grow our community. Productions like Explore and WCNT-Tv, and publications like our printed directory help attract new residents, creating a talented, diverse workforce for local businesses.

Good for your image: There is no doubt that joining the Chamber means increased visibility for your business, and there is certainly something to be said for calling yourself a “proud Chamber member”. A 2012 national survey conducted for the American Chamber of Commerce shows that two-thirds of consumers believe that active Chamber members “use good business practices, are reputable, care about their customers and are involved in the community”.

Boost Business: In the previously mentioned study, result show that if respondents know that small business is a member of its local chamber, the business “enjoys a 49% increase in its consumer favorability rating, a 73% increase in consumer awareness, a 68% increase in its local reputation and an 80% in the likelihood that consumers will patronize your business in the future”. While we would never guarantee joining the Chamber will increase your business sales, many members have reported and an increase after membership. Business owners know a good local reputation is key to running and growing a small business.

Networking: In case the previous reasons haven’t swayed you enough, we have many networking opportunities for you to connect with business professionals. Members have exclusive access to event after event such as ribbon cuttings, networking on the nines, a coffee social, WOW (Women of Wesley Chapel). We average 80 professionals at our monthly breakfast, representing a wide array of businesses in our community.
