The North Tampa Bay Chamber is so pleased to have Dr. Sh'nai a Licensed Mental Health Counselor speak to us this morning about self-care. Historically, women have been socialized to be caretakers and service oriented. This is often characterized with an unconscious experience of self-denial depicting self-care as selfish. This presentation will explore actual and perceived barriers to self-care and deliver practical options for attendees to employ. Participants will be empowered to develop a multidimensional and attainable self-care plan.
