Laurie Spieler, Vice President, Legal, will present on the profound influence of females at Shriners Hospitals for Children from her unique perspective, having worked at SHC for over 25 years, and having witnessed a time of change in the healthcare industry and resulting transformation of the Shrine organization.
Since beginning the practice of law nearly thirty-two (32) years ago, Laurie has concentrated her practice representing healthcare organizations and providers. She graduated college and law school at the University of Illinois, in Urbana-Champaign. She is admitted to practice law in Illinois, Florida and before the U.S. Supreme Court. In 1993 she relocated to Tampa, Florida and has been with the Legal Department at Shriners Hospitals for Children for the past twenty-six (26) years.
