Katie O'Farrell
Kathryn O'Farrell has over 8 years of experience in the financial banking sector, serving in various roles including overseeing front line branch operations and ensuring compliance with financial audits and corporate policies and procedures. After receiving several commendations and regional awards in the financial sector, she transitioned to a career in post-secondary education. Having served over 7 years in higher education, Kathryn currently serves at Trinity College of Florida where she works with students in co-curricular student development programs that emphasize soft-skill development in the areas of leadership, communication, team-work, and persistence and in the areas of community relations and institutional advancement.
Kathryn is also active in the community volunteering with the United Way of Pasco County, Habit for Humanity, Shephard's Village, a transitional housing program for single-mothers, and the Pasco County Supervisor of Elections Office. As the wife of Dr. Kevin O'Farrell, Provost of the Pasco-Hernando State College Porter Campus in Wesley Chapel, Florida, she is actively involved in campus and community events in the North Tampa Bay region. A graduate of Palm Beach State College and a frequent conference and retreat presenter, Kathryn is passionate about mentoring students and helping others discover their full potential. However, her highest joy is being a mother to her two very active and adventurous sons, William and James.
