TAMPA, Fla. (October 6, 2020) – For the first time this year, MOSI will open its doors for a Day of Discovery Halloween event on Saturday October 10th from 8am – 10am for a sensory –friendly Trick or Treat. MOSI will set up a low stress environment of lights and sounds and invite guests to trick or treat throughout the museum. The event will also allow children to meet our astronaut. Moonbase Mike, as well as enjoy some treats that are organic, gluten free and dye free. Doors open to the general public at 10am, and Day of Discovery guests are welcome to stay. Free for MOSI members. Non-members are $5 in advance or $8 on the day of the event.
Day of Discovery events continue to support and positively impact children and families of all abilities, and celebrate the spirit of inclusion in the Tampa Bay community. For more than 35 years, The Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI) has been offering programs to all in the Tampa Bay community that focus on a variety of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
Social distancing and CDC safety guidelines will be in practice for this event.
