Our January Guest Speaker is 
Cheryl Flood - Executive Director of the Florida State Fair



Cheryl Flood is a fifth generation Floridian who grew up on a cattle ranch east of Lake Wales and has dedicated her career to promoting agriculture.  
 
In September 2016, Cheryl Flood was appointed to the position of Executive Director of the Florida State Fair Authority by Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Adam H. Putnam, who oversees the Fair Authority. Prior to assuming the executive director position full time, Flood served as Interim Director of the Fair for six months. Flood has personal, as well as, professional ties to the Fair, having shown cattle at the Florida State Fair in her youth as part of the Frostproof FFA organization.
