5th Annual Wiregrass Wobble Turkey Trot

With the help of our sponsors and participants,
over $110,000 has been raised and distributed to local charities
since our inaugural event in 2013.
We are committed to making 2017 another great event…

This year’s event will again feature:

• Race number bibs with timing chips (integrated).
• 2017 tech shirt for all runners.
• 2017 ‘Ornamedal’ finishing medals for all 5k runners.
• School team competitions.
• Corporate and Friends and Family competitions.
• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards for all 5k age groups.
• 1-mile Fun Run with finisher medals.

New in 2016 was our Friends and Family team competition and our
Corporate Cup team competition.  Both competitions are based on most
participants with the winners being awarded a cup-style trophy.

Last year we again included a School Competition.  Wiregrass High School won boys fastest time for the second year ($350)
while Wharton High School won girls fastest time also for the second year ($350). 
 Lutz Elementary Lizards won most participants ($350).

The new Corporate Cup team competition (most participants) was won by Advanced Telecom Systems.
The Friends and Family Cup team competition (most participants) was won by Moms/She Runs this Town.

We expect to have an expanded post-race celebration with the help of The Brass Tap at The Shops at Wiregrass again this year.

Your registration fee will support the Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel Foundation, FITniche Charities,
and the Rotary Club of New Tampa charities.
