28th Annual Florida Bug Jam

This year's theme honors the comic sensation "Marvel" and takes place November 12th and 13th, 2016 at the Pasco County Fairgrounds. New this year, Show Cars are encouraged to pre-park early on Saturday! If you want to park with your club friends, show off your VW to the Saturday spectators or just get a great spot for the weekend, Saturday is the best day to get that special parking spot. The car show and judging will be on Sunday, as usual. Beginning on Saturday , November 12th will be "Bug Jammed" with activities and events, starting with a Poker Run. Participants will follow a scenic route through the back roads and rolling hills of Pasco County, stopping at local hot spots along the way. Next, is the Bugs On The Track, a dune style, off road course incorporating manageable obstacles and rhythm sections, suited for drivers of any skill level. Then, there is the traditional VW parade starting at the Pasco County Fairgrounds and running through historic downtown Dade City where participants pick up their entry packets and enjoy the Pre-Jam Party. Following the Pre-Jam Party, the participants return to the Pasco County Fairgrounds where there will be live music, entertainment and outstanding craft beer provided by Big Storm Brewery. The entertainment starts with and open mic session from 11am to 4 pm, featured bands will be hitting the main stage and rocking into the night. Sunday is show day, this is the main event, the southeast's largest VW Car Show and Swap meet. There will be a Marvel character look-a-like contest, egg toss contest, audience participation events and live music throughout the day. Additionally there will be camping spots available for overnight campers the entire weekend.
