With technology being at the core of everything we do in our personal and professional lives\, and being integrated into our businesses to bring agility and win in a fast evolving digital economy\, how can women be innovative leaders while we make progress towards equality and a more inclusive world.\n\n\n\nMonica comes from humble beginnings from Columbia\, and was one of the five people out of 400 candidates to receive a full academic scholarships to one of the best private colleges in her home country\, the Universidad EAFIT.  Armed with her college degree she embarked on her career and accepted an opportunity to come to the US for her first assignment.  This was a real life changer for her\, gaining more knowledge and experience where she even worked for Oracle.  In 2013\, she embarked on another opportunity of starting her own Company in Tampa\, MAS Global Consulting.  Now nearly 200 strong\, the Florida-Based company is a mid-size Agile software development and IT Service firm with nearshore development hub in Medellin\, Columbia and team members in four countries with mid size and Fortune 500 Clients.\n\n\n\nMonica has received several recognition's including HITEC100:\, Top 100 most influential Hispanics in the technology industry in the US\, Enterprising Women 2020 Award from Enterprise Magazine\, and LIA100: Top Women in Agile around the Globe.  Monica is an advocate for women and Latinx in technology and believes in giving back just as she has received.
